Summary
Behaviour Support Specialist - Bolton
Connex Education are working with the Behaviour Support Services in Greater Manchester and they are recruiting for Behaviour support Specialists.
The Support Services work with schools, parents, carers and other agencies to work with learners who are showing signs of challenging behaviours and are at risk of being excluded from school. The successful applicants could be placed in either primary schools or secondary schools. You must have the experience of attending child action meetings and working in the classroom to advise staff on behaviour management and work together collaboratively, to find ways to remove barriers for learning and engaging whilst at school.
The role is to start immediately after the May half term break and is offered on a 1 year temporary contract. Interviews are being held week commencing 3rd June 2024.

Person Specification
- Have previous experience supporting pupils within a similar role
- Be willing to travel from school to school on a daily basis
- Be confident working with challenging behaviour
- Be confident attending meeting and keeping records upto date
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to obtain a new one
