Salary (Grade 1): £12.00 per hour
Fixed term contracts 22 July until 1 September 2024
Various hours per week, ranging from 7 hours per week up to 30.33 hours per week. All posts will include some weekend working.

The National Museum of the Royal Navy (NMRN) is recruiting for Team Members to join our team working in a unique heritage environment. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking for a customer facing role to deliver a first-class visitor experience in all our exceptional attractions in both our exceptional attractions in Gosport.
Reporting to the Visitor Experience Managers and Supervisors, this varied role is pivotal in creating the NMRN’s vision to become the world’s most inspiring Naval Museum.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are looking for a customer facing role within a unique heritage environment. We want every visitor to have an extraordinary and enriching experience, every time they visit. As a Team Member you’ll ‘make it happen’ whether you're welcoming visitors on arrival, serving on the tills or positioned out and about and engaging within our galleries, café, ships and shops.

Selling tickets, food and merchandise in our shops, cafes and welcome desks.
To ensure the safety and security for visitors, staff and property.
Knowledge/Experience
Experience of working in a customer focused environment with retail and sales knowledge an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given.
Basic knowledge of Health and Safety and Security requirements and a willingness to learn more.
The ability to communicate and engage with a wide and varied audience.
