Summary
Chef is responsible for performing the following tasks:
Involving with the menu creation;
Preparing, seasoning and cooking foodstuffs or overseeing the preparation and monitoring the quality of finished dishes;
Guiding junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation;
Keeping cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours;
Liaising with managers to manage food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and minimises waste;
Supervising all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards;
Verifying that food storage units meet the standards and are consistently well-managed.
