We are currently looking for a Technical Optimisation Manager to join our technical team based at Shawell.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting into the National Technical Director, in the role of Technical Optimisation Manager you will be responsible for delivering technical advancements in ready mixed concrete as well as (but not limited to):

  • Leading the central RMX laboratory team

  • Research and development of lower carbon solutions and innovative technologies

  • Responsible for concrete mixing design expertise and product optimisation

  • Support in establishing the Tarmac & CRH innovation centre of excellence with an innovation mindset

  • Leading innovation projects, linked to the CRH innovation $250m fund

  • Responsible for the development, growth and advancement of technical apprentices, technicians and technologists

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role of Technical Optimisation Manager will have experience within a similar role as well as experience of:

  • Advanced concrete technology

  • 10+ years experience in a concrete technical role

  • Significant experience in concrete development

  • People management and laboratory management experience

  • Innovation mindse
