Are you a qualified actuary with a passion for leading transformative reporting initiatives in the finance sector? My FTSE 100 client is seeking an experienced Actuary to fill the role of Senior Manager for Liquidity Reporting.
Responsibilities:
As the Senior Manager, you will lead a team of finance professionals, overseeing the production of liquidity monitoring. Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Performance, your responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with senior stakeholders in Finance and Risk to ensure liquidity reporting aligns with customer needs within a robust control environment.
* Conducting ongoing monthly and intra-monthly reporting, addressing ad hoc requirements for new transactions, and actively participating in forecasting and stress testing.
* Driving positive change in reporting processes, aligning with my clients ambitions for continuous improvement.
* Utilising new technologies to enhance reporting efficiency.
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with:
* A qualified actuary or accountant status, accompanied by at least 3 years post qualified experience or equivalent experience in the Insurance sector.
* Strong technical ability and expertise in life assurance business, including annuities, with profits, and/or unit-linked business.
* An understanding of liquidity risk and familiarity with the latest regulatory requirements.
* Proven experience in effectively managing stakeholders.
Desirable Skills:
While not essential, it would be advantageous for you to have experience in:
* Managing teams.
* Managing Financial reporting processes.
