Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time, permanent Nursery Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team in the under 2-5’s room. We are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for providing a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment and a creative approach for delivering an exciting and inspiring curriculum from which the children can flourish and thrive. We would like someone with a passion for their work that it is evident on the faces of their key children and in the minds of their parents.

The successful candidate must be qualified to Level 3 or above and have experience of working with children under 5 years old.
You will be:
Assisting the senior staff in the planning and preparation of activities to provide a high quality curriculum
Carrying out the observation and assessment of individual children and completion of their development records
Attending to the physical, social and emotional needs of the children, working in partnership with parents to ensure that each child reaches their potential
Participating in on-going training.
You should have:
Relevant level 3 qualification
Experience of working with children under 5 years
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
A commitment to working in partnership with parents to provide a high standard of childcare.
