I am looking for personal care for a Child

Drivers licence required: Yes

Own vehicle needed: Yes

Hours per week:

9:30pm - 8:30am Fridays and Saturdays. 22 hours a week.

Hourly pay rate:
£15

Our son is very lovable, tactile (due to having very little hearing and sight) and
playful. He requires feeding, personal care but mainly the company of a caring
person. Training will be given for both of these as well as the other bits of training
that are needed like first aid, manual handling, medication, risk assessment etc.
Our so lives in his adapted home with his mum, dad and sibling, Our friendly dog
lives here too and will keep you company over night.

Duties include:

Medication prompting/administering

Eating and drinking assistance

Moving and handling

Other relevant duties as required

Companionship

Dressing / undressing

Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:

Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality

Reliable with good timekeeping

Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative

Hygienic, tidy and well organised

Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties

Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

Honest and cheerful

Creative

Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard

Must be comfortable with pets

Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

Our Son communicates via touch – due to being ‘deafblind’ he therefore needs a

person who is comfortable with physical contact.

Property is smoke free – No smokers – Thanks

Additional requirements

Non-smoker due to medical reasons, Vulnerable to the risk of infection and

disease transmission

Notes:
