Summary
We have an opportunity in Swansea, for a multi-skilled service technician to work for an established high-tech manufacturer. The role is to strengthen our current service team and provide support to our equipment based on a customer site. The role would start early as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
• You will work closely with the service team and customer to provide corrective and preventative maintenance.
• You will have skills in electrical, electronics, computers and pneumatics to enable analysis and resolution of faults with the equipment.
• An ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative.
• Deliver an exceptionally high availability to the entire system to maintain the value and maximise the design life of the system.
Requirements:
• You will have completed formal training in electronics/mechatronics and will have gained at least 5 years in relevant work experience.
• Possession of a passport and current driving licence.
• You would be required to attend a training course in Germany (normally two weeks).
• The ability to pass UK basic DBS check.
• The role will involve working a 3-shift pattern that cover Sunday night to Friday morning – working (one week of mornings, one week of afternoons and one week of nights).
In return, for this position you will receive a competitive salary (dependent on experience) 30 days leave + pension.
