Summary
Carbon60 are recruiting for a Assembly Technician to work for a large engineering company that provide pumps, compressors, turbines, and generators.
This Assembly Technician is on a temporary 6-month basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The ideal candidate is someone who is apprenticeship trained (or a relevant qualification) and has worked within a related industry.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assembly of a wide range of pumps within the Sulzer family.
- Dynamic balancing of components and rotors.
- Component detailing to ensure correct hydraulic behaviours on the test bed and in the field.
- Skid packaging and alignments of pumps, motors and gearboxes.
- Working to high specification engineering drawings
Skills and Experience required:
- To be Apprentice trained in mechanical or plant engineering
- Relevant rotating equipment experience within a related industry
- Knowledge of health and safety
Rates: £16 per hour PAYE or £20 per hour Umbrella Rate.
