Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for an assistant head chef to join a company based in Grantham on a temporary-ongoing basis.
The working hours for this role are 7.30am – 3.30pm over 5 days with rotational weekend working.
Overtime is available and the successful candidate must be able to cover colleague absences on short notice.
The below qualifications are essential for this role:
• Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
• City and Guilds 706/1
• City and Guilds 706/2 (or NVQ Equivalent)
• Supervisory Qualification
The successful candidate must have experience in leading a team, cooking and using catering equipment, have good communication skills, be able to complete production records and be able to operate machinery after training as well as working individually.
We are looking for someone who has cook- chill experience and proven history of working in a pressured catering environment.
