Summary
FM Conway is looking to recruit a Water Bowser Driver to join our Surfacing division on a permanent, full time basis. The successful applicant will be based from our Chelsfield depot, working a mixture of day and night shifts. You will drive a 7.5 tonne Water Bowser Truck providing water to plant on various FM Conway sites around London.
The duties of the Water Bowser Driver role will include:
-Driving and operating a 7.5 tonne Water Bowser Truck or other vehicles as required and conducting routine checks and periodic maintenance ensuring the vehicle upkeep
-Completing essential paperwork in an accurate and timely fashion in accordance with company requirements
-Maintaining vehicle and equipment in line with company standards and reporting any mechanical faults
-Completing and submitting the required daily defect sheet
-Adhering to EU tachograph regulations
-Reporting any mishaps or accidents to the Supervisor and adhering to company procedures
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for a safety conscious, HGV Driver who holds a full UK driving and a HGV C1 licence, CPC card and a up to date CSCS card. You will be expected to carry out manual handing activities therefore, it is essential you are physical able to lift heavy equipment.
