The Role

The Head of Technical Services, reporting to the IT Director is a key member of the Clermont Technology team, plays a crucial role in the delivery of effective technical support and incident management services across the company's various locations. This senior position offers a unique opportunity to work in iconic venues within the hospitality industry, particularly during a period of growth for Clermont Hotels.

The role involves managing a wide range of technologies, ensuring the seamless operation of core platforms and delivering high-quality technical solutions. The Head of Technical Services is responsible for leading a dynamic team, overseeing the Technology Service Desk function, managing budgets, and developing hardware and infrastructure. This includes involvement in Active Directory/365 management, operating systems maintenance, asset management, product evaluation, project delivery, and compliance with PCI/GDPR regulations.

The role also entails championing Business Continuity initiatives to ensure uninterrupted operations.

· Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI) and security measures implementation.

· Technical expertise with rapid learning ability of technology, processes, and procedures.
· Approachable, proactive, confident, and excellent in organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to communicate technical details to non-technical audiences.
· Calm under pressure, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and maintaining good humor.
· Passion for staying updated with the latest technologies.
· Hands-on approach when necessary.
