Summary
Freelance Project Manager required for Midlands regional build contractor to manage and deliver a £10 Million 60 bedroom retirement village. Project will involve the demolition of an existing building apart from the retention of an existing front facade and then attaching the construction of a new build steel frame building on the back. Reporting into a visiting Contracts Manager you will be responsible for taking ownership of the project from inception through to completion and handover to the client, main core duties and responsibilities will involve the supervision/management of all appointed subcontract packages for the project, on site Health & Safety, progress reports and short term programmes as well as attending and chairing any client, design and subcontractor meetings. There will also be the responsibility for the management of a QA site engineer and site manager.
As the project lead you will need to have an understanding and previously used ASTA as you will be responsible for doing all progress reports and short term programming
Current CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid certificates will be mandatory as without all of these no application will be considered, you will also need to live with a 20-30 mile radius as to where project is based.
