Job summaryNottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) is looking for a full-time Consultant in Respiratory Medicine to join an existing team of 30 NHS and academic consultants providing general and specialist Respiratory services to the people of Nottinghamshire and beyond. This post has a specialist interest in Cystic Fibrosis and/or Bronchiectasis care including the diverse therapies options within the sub-specialties.
You will be joining a dynamic & dedicated team of professionals providing outstanding Respiratory care and delivering internationally recognised Respiratory research within the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre, which is a partnership between NUH and the University of Nottingham.
NUH is the fourth largest acute Trust within the UK, with a busy emergency department at Queen's Medical Centre, which is a level 1 Trauma Centre. NUH provides services to 2.5 million residents of Nottingham and surrounding communities, and specialist services to a further 3-4million across the region and nationally.
Applicants must have GMC registration and be eligible to be included on the Specialist Register. Sub-specialty interests could also be accommodated.

Professional Registration Essential- Full GMC registration Eligible to be included on the Specialist Register or CCT expected within 6 months of interview date
- MBBS, MBChB or equivalent MRCP
- Higher professional degree e.g. MD, PhD or equivalent
