Join our award-winning Dunfermline based client as a Mechanical Assembly Operator with Connect Appointments!
What's on offer? Permanent, full-time position working either day or night shift. Competitive salary ranging from £26,000 to £41,500 per annum DOE + night shift allowance of +£120 per week. As well as, 33 days holiday per year; amd high earning potential through overtime and bonuses.
Shifts Available:
- Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 (with an early Friday finish)
- Night Shift: Sunday to Wednesday, 20:00 to 06:30 (with Thursday overtime from 18:00)
Our client's product range includes everything from refrigerated double deck trailers to clinical waste vehicles. As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, your duties will include:
- Working to a high standard in line with policies and procedures
- Using air hand tools and working from drawings
- Maintaining 5S standards throughout the workplace
- Collaborating with team members to produce exceptional products
- Demonstrating problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and management
To be successful, you will ideally be a time-served, skilled, or semi-skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician with experience in a manufacturing/workshop environment. Combined with:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with hand/air sealer guns and the ability to work in a team environment
- Desirable but not essential - a valid HGV category 3 license
