Summary


Our Maternity team at Ipswich Hospital are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Administration Clerk to join our busy Maternity Unit. You will actively participate as a full member of the team, assisting in the smooth running of the unit by providing efficient administrative functions in an effective and timely manner.

This post is both challenging and rewarding. We are looking for someone with a calm and compassionate nature, who is able to work autonomously and work well within a team.

You will need to be computer literate and provide support to the midwives and maternity care assistants to ensure the smooth running of the unit. Full induction and training will be provided.

This is full time post for fixed term/secondment contract until 31.03.2026.

You will be responsible for the data entry of all midwifery clinic activity.

You will also provide administration and clerical support to the Midwifery led care service.

You will work as part of a larger team supporting the maternity unit to collect date for the Trust from a variety of sources and ensure that that accurate information is available.
