Support Worker - Female - Barnet - £11.77 per hour - Full Time Only!

Join our fabulous team of Female support workers in Barnet. Whether you have experience or not, we will help support you to reach your full potential by providing you with all the necessary training, guidance and support you need to complete your care certificate and further qualifications.

Dimensions is a leading social care provider in England and Wales, supporting people with learning disabilities and autism.

You will be supporting five people, 2 ladies and 3 gentlemen. Four of the people use wheelchairs and all enjoy variety of different activities. We are looking for football fans, and even better if you support Tottenham as you will make a great match and have a lot of fun watching games. If you have been to Greece or if you would love to try some delicacies from that region, come and join our team as one of the people we support loves to listen to Greek music and enjoys Greek food. We are looking for people who are not shy to talk as the people we support are very chatty and enjoy having conversations.

The role will involve:

- Going out to restaurants and pubs

- Enjoying long walks and day trips

- Going swimming

- Listening to music, mostly Greek and Irish, Karaoke,

- Watching football

- Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks (this may include - but not be limited to - Finance, cooking, personal care)

Shifts patterns:

Day shifts - 7am - 10pm; can be broken into half day shifts; 7am - 2:30pm and 2pm - 10pm; you must be able to do sleep in shifts
