The Learning and Development Manager plays a crucial role in creating a continuous learning culture across one of the UK's leading
chilled food manufacturing companies.

You will be responsible for diagnosing skill gaps, developing comprehensive training programs, and promoting continuous learning
across the company to drive success through a skilled and competent workforce.

and grow our L&D offering, ensuring our team members have access to the best learning experiences, whether face-to-face, virtual,
or through e-learning platforms.




Key Responsibilities of the role:




* Identify skill gaps and design training initiatives to bridge those gaps.
* Create and develop comprehensive leadership and personal effectiveness training programs that align with our values and
strategic goals
* Deliver site-based workshops and online training.
* Assess the effectiveness of training programs and analyse the impact on employee performance and results.
* Promote continuous learning and professional growth by encouraging employee participation in workshops, conferences, and other
relevant educational opportunities.
* Support the development of a consistent compliance catalogue of learning related to safety, ethics, and legal requirements.
* Responsible for budget planning and resource allocation for training programs.
* Develop and maintain our e-learning platforms to enhance training delivery and accessibility for employees.
* Collate useful content of talks, guidance, and advice from across the Group.
* Create learning pathways and curriculum's by work levels to create a consistent approach to up-skilling.
* Ensure learning is accessible, considering the needs of employees related to access to technology, technology skills, and
language translation.
* Support new leaders by offering training recommendations and coordinating support pathways for our newly promoted Managers.

Essential Requirements:

* Proven experience in a learning role, ideally within Food Manufacturing, with a track record of developing and implementing
successful learning programs and an ambition to learn.
* Experience in designing and delivering a variety of training methods, including workshops, on-the-job training, and blended
learning solutions.
* Skilled in designing and delivering leadership and personal effectiveness training.
* Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques.
* Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other training-related technologies.
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey training concepts to diverse audiences.
* Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR, department heads, managers, and
external training partners.
* Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility in responding to changing business needs along with the resilience and pace required
to be successful with a fast-moving business.
* Driving Licence - requirement to travel to our UK sites as required.
