The Senior Manager Commercial Performance/Commercial Insights & Strategy is a key leadership role that works in partnership with the Head of Commercial Performance & Analytics to deliver improved analytical and insight capability that underpins effective strategic decision making; to drive customer and competitor insight that enables delivery of leading propositions and fair value for customers and commercial return for the bank; and supports the business with the wider strategic objectives of deeper customer relationships.
This role reports into our Head of Commercial Performance & Analytics with the accountability to:
- Deliver the product strategy in line with the EDB and CR strategy, underpinned by customer and competitor insights ensuring that our propositions support the delivery of our Objectives and Key Results
- Support the development of insightful and timely customer and commercial analytics to support business decision making
- Increase the capability of commercial insights across the team. Maximising the use of tools and insights to influence customer led decision making
- Continually scan the wider market for competitor and market trends impacting the revenue and costs of the business unit
- Develop a deeper understanding and insights of our customer base, their behaviours and value drivers
- Lead monthly financial reviews and spot opportunities across the product area
