Summary
**We are currently recruiting Baggage Handler (New Entry & Experienced) to join our growing team on a Full Time, Permanent basis.**
One Resourcing Ltd are extremely proud to be recruiting, once again, on behalf of our client GGS Ground Services. GGS provide airport ground services to the most prestigious airline operating at London Gatwick Airport supporting British Airways, Vueling, BA Euroflyer, Air India, Iberia Express, Qatar Airways & Singapore Airlines.
**Please note all candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, provide a full 5 year background check and have access to the airport to start as early as 04:00am.**
Pay Rate: £13.18ph/ £25,697.93 – £14.89ph/ £29,044.64(Plus additional £2080 shift pay allowance)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Roster: 5on 3off (Earlies & Lates)
Overtime: Monday-Friday = Time and a Half / Weekends & Bank Holidays = Double Pay

We are pleased to announce that an exciting opportunity has arisen within GGS for the position of Baggage Handler (NEW ENTRANTS & EXPERIENCED). This is a permanent contract directly with GGS.
BAGGAGE HANDLER DUTIES:
To assist the Team Supervisor with the efficient operation of the chute / line / baggage sorting area
Use of a baggage tug – after relevant training
Delivery of baggage to aircraft side
Delivery / collection of baggage to the Re-flight Unit / drop-off point
Delivery / collection of empty containers to / from the appropriate storage area
Reporting of defective equipment
Ensuring equipment is kept clean and tidy and is stored in the correct area and manner
Ensuring that all Health & Safety requirements are adhered to and the reporting of those that are not
Ensuring company procedures, customer SLA and performance targets are met
Represent the Company in a professional manner
Requirements:
Full Manual UK Driving Licence
5 years worth of satisfactory references to obtain a full air-side pass.
The ability to work accurately under pressure
Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills
Ability to access the airport for early morning starts (car parking costs are covered)
A satisfactory criminal record check
