Health, Wellbeing, Fitness - Healthy Lifestyle Advisor. Gloucester.
Are you someone who is excited to be able to make a difference to someone's health? Do you enjoy working with a wide range of people, and using your interpersonal skills and knowledge of health and/or fitness to transform their lifestyle and enhance their health and wellbeing?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a far-reaching integrated community health service, working within a talented team of health professionals to delivery transformative educational programmes which are supporting people to improve their health.
Ideally you will have some form of health/fitness/nutrition/public health knowledge, perhaps a gym instructor, nutritionist, public health graduate, psychology experience of similar. You will be fully trained to deliver a holistic health program, advising your clients on all aspects of health, supporting them to make healthy lifestyle choices including diet, exercise, stop-smoking support, alcohol reduction and much more.
You will be performing assessments, and be trained to use innovative techniques to support people with behavioural change, and this will be to a wide range of people, including families and in various settings.
