Summary
Rullion are seeking an experienced Estimator on behalf of our client, a prominent Fit-Out and Refurbishment Contractor specialising within the Commercial and Industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for fit-out and refurbishment projects.
- Analyse project requirements and specifications.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare tender documentation and submissions.
- Evaluate and manage project budgets.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Issuing of tender documentation to the supply chain for pricing.
- Review of all sub-contractors quotations to ensure compliance with tender documentation.
- Working on multiple tenders ranging in value from £250k to £10 million.
- The production of Schedule of Works/ Bills of Quantities.
- Producing bid documentation - methodology, programmes etc.
- Answering post tender queries.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of fit-out and refurbishment processes.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate and be able to use the following to a good standard: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Work, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project.
- Full UK Driving License Required as site visits will be required.
