Summary

Design Engineer

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Newport, Isle of Wight ( hybrid working considered, WFH 1 day per week)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Days: Monday - Friday

Duration: Permanent

Duties:

Planning, project management and client liaison on engineering projects, working to time and budget requirements.
Conceptual structural design, detailed design and analysis or composite engineering projects,
Assist in the development of innovative and efficient engineering solutions and working methods,
Develop own technical capability and contribute to office technical development.

Experience:

Must have previous experience of working within a similar structural design role including knowledge of composite structures.
Must be qualified to degree level in Engineering, Material Science or a related field.
Must be proficient in MS Office, experience of Auto CAD and Finite Element Analysis is an advantage.
