Summary


We are looking for a dynamic individual to take on this role as the Assistant Access Manager for Imaging. This is an exciting opportunity to support the service with a number of service developments in the coming year.

The administrative team are integral to the department and work closely with a wide range of specialist clinical staff.

This role would suit an experienced administrative staff member who is looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment leading and managing a team of administration coordinators and receptionists to meet operational targets and deliver a high standard of care to patients.

As a member of this team you will have an opportunity to be a part of an expanding service. You will also be involved in organising patient journeys through the diagnostic process for the various client groups.

You will work closely with other members of the clinical team as well as coordinators from other services.

· Manage personal workload to meet both corporate and personal deadlines.

· Prioritise workload in a way that enables the delivery of both important and urgent tasks.

· Manage staff and delegate appropriate tasks, ensuring competence of the staff to whom work is delegated.

· Organise daily staff briefings and Imaging utilisation meetings. Organise other meetings as appropriate. To keep up to date minutes of all meetings.

· To attend MDT and other utilisation meetings as required.

· Have key up to date knowledge of all targets and processes relating to the patient pathway process for suspected and diagnosed cancer patients and other urgent referrals
