Summary

Group Waste Co-ordinator

Location: 4 Sites, Preferable Candidate Between Milton Keynes or Northampton, Travel Required Across Sites.

£35,000 and Industry Leading Benefits

Mon-Fri (40 Hours), 2 Days at Kettering Site, 3 Days Other Sites and Hybrid

Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Group Waste Co-ordinator and take charge of coordinating waste removal activities across our four sites in Kettering, Milton Keynes, Luton, and Wakefield.

You'll ensure compliance with contracts, health and safety protocols, and waste legislation while driving innovation and continuous improvement. Reconcile waste invoices, support business strategy, and monitor on-site waste team activities.

About You

Experience and knowledge requirement for this role:

  • Forklift truck license preferred.
  • Waste management experience, including waste auditing and driving down cost elements.
  • Experience in auditing, invoicing, reconciliation, and discrepancies resolution.
  • Proficiency in managing clients and serving as the first point of contact.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of computer systems for data input.
  • Baseline understanding of waste management operations.
  • Experience in delivering waste operations in a busy factory environment.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors effectively.
  • Ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to improve productivity and waste management performance.
