Summary
Proman is looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager for one of their clients, a company specializing in the design, sourcing, and manufacture of hardwood flooring.
Responsibilities:
• Managing contracts
• Keeping track of project finances and contractual relationships
• Ensuring that project finances are accurately reported and effectively controlled
• Identifying, assessing, evaluating, and agreeing on changes, both upstream and downstream
• Assessing, estimating, and agreeing on subcontract valuations and final accounts
• Creating commercial reports
• Liaising with the Employer’s representatives in all aspects of both cost and value
• Assisting in the drafting and execution of supply chain agreements
• Assisting with procurement and estimating requirements
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of Quantity Surveying experience
• Previous experience working with a flooring or carpentry subcontractor
• Previous estimating experience is desirable
About the Job: This is a long-term position with a permanent contract for the right candidate. There is an opportunity to grow into the role of Commercial Director, gaining experience with a leading company in the luxury fit-out industry.
Salary: Basic Salary: £60k to £65k, negotiable depending on experience + annual bonus
