Job Summary:

The Data Analyst and Reporting Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and organisation of the Data and Reporting department. This role involves close collaboration with department heads to consistently deliver high levels of customer service. A strong business understanding is essential for effectively guiding and advising cross-departmental teams. It requires a proactive leader with strong project management skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest standards in data reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the data analysis and reporting department.
- Ensure all projects and timelines are adhered to, and all reports are accurate and of the highest quality, prior to being distributed to the client.
- Maintain compliance with departmental and company SLA requirements.
- Allocate tasks effectively to ensure all agreed timescales are delivered and within budget.
- Conduct regular meetings with other business areas, providing advice and resolutions to reporting queries and requests.
- Plan and document projects comprehensively before implementation, ensuring full user documentation and training prior to launch.
- Ensure team members are well-trained and efficient, addressing any shortfalls with appropriate action plans.
- Supervise external contractors within the department's scope.
- Oversee the creation of electronic questionnaires using the bespoke in-house system.
- Manage the generation and quality of reports and dashboards.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in reporting processes.
- Attend client meetings either at infinite head office or the client premises depending on requirements.
- Ensure effective use of software tools.
- Administer user accounts, including setup and maintenance, manage access control, and provide support to end users.
- Coordinate the setup and maintenance of equipment for end users, ensuring proper functionality and usability.
- Provide advice and assistance on resolving software problems or queries and escalate as required.

Key Skills and Experience:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present results clearly.
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Macros and Power Query
- Experience with creating and managing reports using Power BI
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation tasks
- Strong understanding of business operations
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritise workloads. 
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Proven management experience
- Attention to detail in data presentation.
