Storyboard Artist (1 Year Fixed Term Contract)
Dambuster Studios - creators of the TimeSplitters series alongside Second Sight, Haze, Homefront: The Revolution, and the number one BAFTA nominated smash hit Dead Island 2 - has an exciting opportunity for a Storyboard Artist to join our highly talented Concept Art team.

Role overview
We’re looking for a Storyboard Artist on a one-year fixed-term contract to join our Concept Art team, who will work with our Lead Concept Artist to translate scripts and the Director’s vision into panels. You’ll be laying out shots and showing continuity to each image, as well as working with our Animation team by applying templates and development.

Responsibilities

Creating storyboards and translating scripts for cinematics
Working with other disciplines across the studio to visualise and create storyboards
Use thumbnail/sketches and Lead/Director feedback to create coherent and accomplished storyboards.
Maintaining consistency and perspective when drawing characters throughout all boards, staying on model.
Working alongside the Director and Dev team to ensure fixes and feedback has been incorporated into the boards.
Working closely with your direct line manager to ensure consistency with the Art and Animation processes and output.
Presenting work to various teams throughout the studio.


Requirements

A strong portfolio with ArtStation links, or similar portfolio medium
Experience in a AAA studio is a nice to have
Experience in a creative working environment
A passion for video games
