Summary

We have a great opportunity for a determined Deputy Manager to work within our 3 bed home in Whitchurch / Shropshire area



This new venture will give you the opportunity to inspire an enthusiastic and vibrant team. With your guidance, the team will ensure that the children living within the home will have the very best care & great role models.



Essential/Preferred requirements:



Level 3/4 diploma in Children and Young people or equivalent to this course. (Essential)
Experience of working with children and young people for at least 2 years in a senior/team leader/support worker role. (Essential)
Working knowledge of childcare and child developed through working directly with children and young people. (Essential)
Full UK Drivers Licence (Essential)
A level 5 in leadership and Management – children & young people is desirable. (Preferred)


The core purpose of the role of Deputy Manager is to assist the Registered Manager in providing an emotionally secure, consistent, warm, supportive and caring environment for the young people and to encourage their social, physical, emotional intellectual and moral development.
