Summary
We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our client in the Wem area. This is an industry leading company who have been operating for over 100 years and have one of the most diverse ranges of products available on the market within their sector. This is a full time position and the working hours are as follows:
Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
Friday: 06:00 -14:00
£11.44 per hour
Main roles and responsibilities:
Processing incoming deliveries
Inspect any stock for damages
Ensuring accurate record keeping
Perform regular stock takes and inventory checks
Organise and store products within the correct locations within the warehouse
Pick products accurately in accordance to order specifications
Pack and prepare any items for dispatch, ensuring they are correctly labelled and documented
Loading deliveries to be shipped
Strictly following all company policies and health and safety regulations
General warehouse duties
Any other reasonable task, as required.
Skills and qualities we look for in a candidate:
Reliable and punctual
Willingness to learn and become a part of the team
Use initiative, and complete tasks given to the best of their ability
Able to communicate well and ask questions to those training
Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Good housekeeping skills, ensuring they work tidily to always keep workspace neat and free from clutter
