Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our People Development Department at Kings Mill Hospital. We are looking to recruit a self-motivated, innovative individual with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills, to support out Audio-Visual and Technical services.
You will be working in our busy Education Centre and Training & Development department alongside various teams, setting up and supporting training rooms. You will become conversant and competent in all training and education room technology and support, under the supervision of the AV Support Technician. This apprenticeship would suit someone who is organised, has good time management skills and works well in a team, with an interest in Information Technology and learning how to solve problems.
The successful apprentice will undertake a Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification and will be employed directly by Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Trust for the duration of the apprenticeship, with possible progression opportunities beyond.

• Set up and close down of training rooms in the Education Centre and Training & Development Department
• Assist with any IT or technical issues that may impact delivery of facilitated sessions
• Support with Dental teaching days and follow all procedures as outlined by the Audio-Visual Technical Support Office
• Assist with preparing any required equipment for the next session and remove and correctly store any equipment from previous sessions
• Any other reasonable duties consistent to the role
