Salary: £100 - 130 per day (depending on experience)
TeacherActive are proud to be working with an excellent private specialist secondary school to support their recruitment for Behaviour Mentor. The successful candidate will be able to confidently support and bring sustainable change into breaking down barriers to learning for students with SEND. By doing this, the successful Behavour Mentor will withhold a positive attitude to implementing strategies in a way that develops intrinsic motivation within the students.
Being part of the pastoral team at this specialist school will be a fantastic opportunity for somoene looking to develop into a new role. Experience working with SEND and challenging behaviour is a must, as knoweldge of effective implementation strategies will be the success in this role.
The successful Behaviour Mentor will have:
• Experience working with children with ASD/ADHD
• Experience working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviours
• Level 2 or 3 CACHE or equivalent
• Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications desirable
