You should have excellent knowledge of the Ofsted welfare requirements and Early Years Foundation Stage principles and practice. Applicants should naturally be calm, personable, confident and helpful with all matters regarding the team and the teaching in the setting.

Duties:

The Early Years Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality childcare and early years teaching at Young Sussex (Brighton). They will be working with the Early Years Teachers from our Brighton and Hove nursery for mutual support and to share best practice. They will support colleagues effectively to deliver fun and inspiring activities within dynamic learning environments and will be responsible for coordinating our focussed assessment and planning systems, ensuring that all staff members are meeting their children’s needs and have high aspirations for their key children.
