We are looking for passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join one of our popular and extremely supportive schools within the heart of Barnet. You will have the role of assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and support students' learning needs, ensuring a positive and effective educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
- Provide individualized support to students, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
- Help maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
- Prepare and organize classroom materials and resources.
- Support students' academic and personal development.
- Supervise students during breaks and lunchtimes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
