As a Multi-Channel Marketing Officer at Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity, you will be at the forefront of our digital communications strategy. You will play a pivotal role in creating original copy, multimedia content, and compelling calls to action. Managing our supporter newsletter, marketing automation processes, and social media activities will be central to your responsibilities. Your aim will be to engage our diverse range of stakeholders, including supporters, charitable fund applicants, members of the public, corporates, and NHS staff.

Develop a programme of tailored multi-channel marketing campaigns, including the development of a dynamic supporter newsletter, to specific audience groups with clear calls to action.

Track analytics and open rates on our newsletters and campaigns to proactively make improvements to key stats to help improve deliverability, open and click-through rates and conversions.

Work alongside the marketing team on managing and maintaining the Google Ad and Google Analytics accounts, assisting in campaign delivery and keyword planning.

Ensure our communications practices are GDPR compliant.

Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.

Design and implement social media strategy to align with charity objectives.

Contribute to management of the day-to-day handling of all social media channels (X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram), launch new channels and oversee social media accounts’ design.

Work with the Charity Digital Design Officer to generate, edit, publish and share engaging multi-media content (e.g., original text, graphics, videos, photos) using Hootsuite and commission high quality marketing materials.
