We are a fun, busy and friendly nursery with an out of school setting who firmly believe that every child should feel special and that every child learns through play. We care for over 220 amazing children and their families aged between two weeks and twelve years from all over the Peterborough area.
We are looking for someone to join our Tiny Tigers baby room. You must have:
an amazing imagination;
a warm smile;
the ability to multi task, multi task, multi task;
a love of songs and stories;
a clear understanding of the early stages of development;
the ability to build relationships with parents based on trust;
knowledge of the weaning process;
evidence of first aid training;
evidence of a relevant qualification in childcare;
the ability to work as part of a team and share information well;
a love of creating exciting, engaging floor based play spaces.
Your daily duties will include:
Providing support to the nursery with care of the children during the day to day
activities in the nursery including sleep, toileting, first aid and toileting.
To maintain a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment.
To provide a high quality, child-centred service to meet the needs of children,
young people and their families, in line with the EYFS and Play Principles.
To work within our fun team supporting children to progress and develop their
skills in the various areas of the EYFS.

Required for the position
GCSE English and Maths grades C or above (equivalent functional skills)
A full and relevant qualification in childcare at Level 3 or above (Health and
Social care qualifications are not considered full and relevant for this position)
