Job Title: Virtual School Teacher

Enhanced DBS required for this role
A Virtual School Teacher is required to start as soon as possible.
It is essential that you have both knowledge and understanding of the Virtual School and the pupil Premium.
The team require candidates that have taught at least 2 key stages and has minimum middle leader or more senior leadership team experience, such as assistant head or sitting on SLT in a school.
This role is initially for 2-3 months, with potential to be extended through to November for the right candidate.

Qualifications:
Relevant Degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience:
Senior Leadership Team (SLT) experience, such as assistant head or sitting on SLT in a school
Taught at least 2 different key stages.
Knowledge of child development, Safeguarding children issues, basic child behavioural techniques and the needs of children.
Knowledge and understanding of pupil premium
Organisational and planning skills.
Ability to work creatively.
Ability to communicate clearly with children, young people, parents and other professionals.
Able to produce clear, accurate records and reports.
Able to prioritise effectively a wide range of competing demands to meet deadlines.
IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
