John Harvey Driving School are an existing and well-established LOCAL Driving School who are looking for motivated individuals to join our team.
Unlike the National brands we are a local driving school with over 18 years experience of working in Canterbury and the surrounding areas.
We are looking for Trainee Driving Instructors to join the John Harvey Driving School Team.
Maybe you are looking for a change of career... Have you ever considered being a Driving Instructor? Your Income is dependent on the number of hours worked at a minimum rate of £31 per hour. You are able to work as few or as many hours as you wish.
John Harvey Driving School currently have 15 driving instructors covering Canterbury and the local area. All the instructors work to specific postcodes, so you are never far away from home. Many of our instructors have been with us since they qualified.
We offer full training and a GUARANTEED placement in the driving school once qualified.
All training is carried out In Canterbury, Herne Bay or Folkestone (this is due to test centre locations) and can be done around your current employment if preferred.
All our training is on a 1-2-1 basis with John Harvey. There are training fees payable for this role.
To apply to be a driving instructor you need the following:
• Held a Full UK Driving Licence for more than 3 years
• Less than 6 Penalty Points on your licence
• Be over 21 years of age
• Pass a Disclosure Baring Service check (DBS)
• Not been banned from driving in the last 4 years.
