Are you an experienced Steel Fixer looking for a new opportunity in Swanley? We are currently seeking a skilled individual to join our client's team for an exciting project. If you have an eye for detail and a passion for precision, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand construction drawings and specifications to determine steel reinforcement requirements.
- Cut, bend, and place steel bars or mesh to reinforce concrete structures according to engineering plans.
- Ensure accurate placement and alignment of reinforcement bars to meet project specifications.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently, including rebar tying tools, cutting torches, and bending machines.
- Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Steel Fixer in the construction industry.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of steel fixing techniques, including cutting, bending, and tying rebar.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid CSCS card and relevant certifications.
