Are you an experienced Steel Fixer looking for a new opportunity in Swanley? We are currently seeking a skilled individual to join our client's team for an exciting project. If you have an eye for detail and a passion for precision, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand construction drawings and specifications to determine steel reinforcement requirements.
  • Cut, bend, and place steel bars or mesh to reinforce concrete structures according to engineering plans.
  • Ensure accurate placement and alignment of reinforcement bars to meet project specifications.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently, including rebar tying tools, cutting torches, and bending machines.
  • Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Steel Fixer in the construction industry.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of steel fixing techniques, including cutting, bending, and tying rebar.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid CSCS card and relevant certifications.
