Summary
To care co-ordinate clients with complex needs as appropriate. To monitor, evaluate and modify treatment in order to measure progress, and to ensure effective intervention. The post holder will be responsible for the development and provision of group interventions for clients and carers. To provide specialist advice to service users and their carers and offer information about resources available to service users within the community. To engage and develop effective therapeutic relationships with eating disorder clients to maximise their recovery potential, and advance their understanding of the condition. To work collaboratively and in conjunction with the Adult Community Mental Health Teams in a Hub and Spoke model of care delivery To use skills including motivational interviewing and psychoeducation specific to Eating Disorders, this will involve eliciting highly sensitive information.
