About the client: Our client buys and processes scrap metal from businesses, other recyclers and the general public. With over 260 processing facilities in the United States, United Kingdom and Australasia, the company recycle ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

The role

About the role:

This position is responsible for supporting the National Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Trading Team, Factory Contracts and the Business Development Team in all aspects of commercial administration. Working in Smethwick, the successful candidate will be part of a team and work under the supervision of a knowledgeable and supportive Service Delivery Manager.

Key accountabilities

• Produce accurate and timely customer (Consolidation) reports
• Produce Load Lists and Self Bills
• Prepare and distribute customer price schedules and continuously update prices on the Navision system
• Create contracts on the Navision system
• Investigate and resolve internal queries
• Liaise with the Transport Department & Weighbridge personnel
• Support the Commercial Ferrous, Non Ferrous, & Factory Contracts Team
• Deal with all administrative customer queries
• Route website queries, and incoming calls to the appropriate contact
• Make courtesy calls to existing suppliers, and provide feedback to Senior Managers
• Manage all Inter Company prices
• Deal with all Head Office accounts/administration requests
• Assist with Reception cover, as the company requires
