We are Active Care Group, one of the leading providers of complex care. Within the Care in the Home division, we support clients with spinal cord injury, neurological and acquire brain injury to live independently in their own homes.
We'd like you to join us as a Live In Support Worker in the area of Euston.
What you'll be doing:
Our male client has Multiple sclerosis and suffers short term memory loss. You will support the client to lead an independent life in their home and their community.
You will move into a client’s home and support them with personal care (including washing, dressing and toileting), moving and handling, domestic tasks and social activities.
The client enjoys weekly swimming and the successful candidate will be trained by a swimming instructor on how to complete exercises in the water.
When you'll be working:
Assignments 2 weeks long
Regular consistent work with rolling rotas
You must commit to working regularly each month to enable continuity of care for our clients
What you'll have:
Kind and caring nature
Flexibility & reliability – continuity of care is imperative for our clients
Good communication skills
An understanding of memory loss and how to keep an individuals mind stimulated
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
image library
What to look forward to:
£805 per week / £115 per day on a zero hour contract
Potential for regular consistent work with set rolling rotas – minimum of 2 weeks on
