We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Attendance Officer.
We are a forward-thinking school and we are passionate about making a difference to the lives of our children; they are at the heart of everything we do. You would be joining an enthusiastic team focused on providing great opportunities for learning for all our students.
We are part of Castle Phoenix Trust so there are many CPDL opportunities available. We pride ourselves on being the kind of place people want to work where everyone recognises the buzz of excitement and togetherness, whatever stage they are at in their career!
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and flexible individual to support the school in continuing to achieve high standards of education in leading, learning and excelling together. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and will provide effective support to all students and families which includes all identified vulnerable groups. You will play a key role in improving and maintaining attendance in the school so that students gain maximum life chances from educational opportunities.
With the support of the Deputy Headteacher and the Welfare and Pastoral Team, you will play an integral role in offering support to students whose education is at risk due to attendance related issues.
This is a wonderful opportunity to gain some really valuable experience in a forward-thinking environment and to put your strong skill set to the test; working closely with a range of stakeholders in a very professional and friendly environment.
We will be looking for excellent communication, IT and organisational skills, a discrete, flexible and professional attitude, the ability to prioritise and make sound decisions. You will be committed to the Trust’s working values including Respect To All From All, as well as demonstrating our key values by having a positive mind-set, being able to use your initiative and working collaboratively.
Some flexibility in working hours may be required to support evening meetings with colleagues or families. Travel will be required so the successful candidate would need to provide their own transport for business use.
This fulfilling role will provide a wealth of developmental opportunities and we will ensure you receive a comprehensive induction programme and our commitment to your own CPDL. We offer a range of benefits which include the local government pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, free parking, an employee discount scheme and investment in staff wellbeing and recognition initiatives are also on offer through our wellbeing committee and People strategy.
We will play to your strengths and can offer you:
• A range of benefits which include cycle to work, free parking and an employee discount scheme.
• A strong commitment to staff wellbeing and recognition.
• Annual Support Staff Conference for all Support Staff across the Trust.
We are proud to be part of Castle Phoenix Trust. This facilitates an opportunity to play to your strengths and provide excellent collaboration between colleagues and leaders, access to effective CPD and the chance to develop professionally. The Trust is committed to invest in and develop all staff and, most importantly, bring about the best possible outcomes for our students who deserve the very best. Our Trust values are really important to all of us and include Respect to All, From All, Innovation and Collaboration.
Castle Phoenix Trust has a great deal to be proud of, with super facilities and a desire to continuously improve. If you have the passion and determination to be a valued part of our team, we would love to hear from you.
We welcome visits to the school for you to find out more about the role. Please contact the school with any enquiries regarding the role or to arrange a visit.
