Summary

Higher Level Teaching Assistant / Positive Behaviour Support
Salary/Rate: £23,175 - £25,136 /annum (based on 40 hours per week, dependent on experience)
Monday – Friday, Term time only (39 weeks). Permanent role.
Based at Woodview, Ingfield Manor School, Billingshurst, RH14 9AX

We are offering you the opportunity to be part of an exciting new and growing provision, Woodview at Ingfield Manor School. Woodview is for secondary aged students with special educational needs including speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) and autistic spectrum conditions (ASC)
Based in its our own idyllic grounds, Ingfield Manor School offers extensive specialist facilities with the aim to provide an exceptional learning environment, helping children and young people fulfil their potential. Facilities include woodland and outdoor classroom space, high specification sensory room and swimming pool.

Responsibilities

- Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils
- Promote students’ independence, self-esteem and problem solving
- Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities with individual students, groups and whole classes, under the direction of the teacher
- Follow the school’s marking and assessment policy to assess, record and report on students’ progress
- Provide engaging activities to enable students to fulfil their potential
- Be a role model and line manage school support team members
