Summary

Cover Supervisor full-time or part-time
Start Date and hours to be negotiated
Term time only role (39 weeks per year)
Surrey Grade S6 (pay rise pending)
Pro-rated for 15 hours (£10,000 to £10,770)
Pro-rated for 20 hours (£13,333 to £14,360)
Pro-rated for 30 hours (£20,000 to £21,540)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident individual with the ability to relate to and motivate our students when covering for absent teachers. This person will be responsible for supervising/supporting students in classrooms across the curriculum.

The very varied role involves providing cover and supervision in class and registration, ensuring that the work provided for the students is delivered and completed as per the teacher’s lesson plan and provide appropriate feedback to the teacher / subject leader on the lessons covered. No two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to experience the wide range of learning that takes place daily in the school.
This role is the perfect stepping stone for someone who is considering teaching and wants experience being in a supportive and friendly school, a great gap year job or a new role for anyone who would just like to make a real difference to the lives of young people. It is a great opportunity to play a crucial role in the day to day life of the school within the classroom and to gain exposure to the school environment.
No previous experience is required as training will be provided. However, previous experience working with children would be advantageous.
