Summary

What is the job role?

We are a happy and successful Junior School seeking to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic and motivated Pastoral Lead/ Learning Mentor to join our friendly team. Your role will provide a complementary service to that provided by teachers, the SENDCO and support staff in order to address the needs of children who require help and support to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside school, to achieve their full potential. You will also contribute to raising attainment, improving attendance and maintaining high standards of behaviour. You will act as Deputy DSL, providing support to the Headteacher in their role as DSL.

Work pattern

32.5 hours per week

39 weeks term time only

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has experience of and enjoys working with vulnerable children and families. You should be able to communicate well and be flexible and supportive. You should be resilient and have a good sense of humour.
