Our client is a specialist automation engineering company that provides customers with bespoke manufacturing solutions within the automotive and industrial sector. Due to their continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Fitter to join the team in Bradford.

Key Responsibilities – Electrical Fitter

• To maintain professional standards of appearance, manner, discipline, and work.
• To design and assemble control & HMI panels, whenever possible using appropriate standard layouts and common circuits to current regulations & legislation.
• To ensure appropriate material is available for the control package, is clearly identified and assigned to a project.
• To organise the day-to-day tasks, with attention to drawings, specification, and schedule, including accompanying paperwork and communication with colleagues
• To prepare control packages to schedule as requested by the Design/Project Team.
• To ensure control packages are accurate to drawing and error free.
• To assist and/or lead the field wire and pneumatic pipe of systems.
• To produce accurate drawings of the control circuit, electrical and pneumatic reflecting the “as built” state of the system. Prepare system documentation packages to satisfy the customer.
• To prepare all documentation as required by the customer’s basic requirements. These may include, but are not exclusive, CE documentation, training, safe use of the system etc.
• Monitor stocks of consumables and ensure a basic level is maintained of essential items.

Qualifications & Experience – Electrical Fitter

• Extensive product and industry knowledge.
• A good level of client relationship skills for site visits.
• To have a high degree of attention to detail and a desire for high quality output.
• Ability to learn new practical skills.
• Ability to work in a multi skilled manufacturing environment.
• To hold the appropriate qualifications.
• The job is of a physical nature so a certain level of health will be required.
• Valid driving license.
