Summary


We are looking to recruit a full time receptionist to join our reception team within the Sexual Health Service.

The role will encompass dealing with patients, clinical and non-clinical staff by face to face and telephone; subsequently you will require excellent communications skills. A flexible approach to this role is essential to ensure the demands of the service are met.

As part of the team you will be registering patients onto the clinic computer system whereby accuracy is essential.

Working knowledge of all common computer applications including word is essential, as you will be required to carry out a wide range of transactions and associated data input. Specialist training will be given on ‘in house’ systems.

You should have a good standard of general education and have attained qualifications in English & Mathematics e.g. GSCE or equivalent. You will also require a clear understanding of the concept of confidentiality of personal health information.
