Summary
Are you an experienced Machine Operative looking for a permanent role in the Deeside (CH5) area? We are proud to be recruiting for our well-established client for a Rewind Operator within the printing industry.
Main Purpose of role as a Rewind Operator - To convert large printed rolls of materials into the finished customer specified format, utilizing our in house finishing equipment and working to deadlines.
Pay & Working Hours
· £27,863 Per Annum
· 24/7 shift pattern including days, nights and weekends – Working an average of 42 hours a week.
**YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ALL SHIFT PATTERNS INCLUDING WEEKENDS**
There is a Deeside Shuttle Bus stop close to the location of the site – Buses 204, 811, D1, D2 & D3
Responsibilities
· To convert large printed rolls of materials into the finished customer specified format, utilizing our in house finishing equipment and working to deadlines
· Basic routine maintenance (including weekly safety and maintenance checks on all equipment)
· Inspection of machinery & rewind to achieve highest possible quality with maximum output and minimum waste.
· Maintain a tidy work area at all times.
· Operate within Company safety policy at all times.
Requirements
· Knowledge of procedures for running machinery
· Previous experience within a busy manufacturing or warehouse environment
· Good communication skills
· Able to work under own initiative.
· The ability to fault find and problem solve.
· Good understanding of Health & Safety
· A reasonable level of fitness is required as the role involves some physical activity e.g. lifting & bending.
