The Southfield Trust is seeking dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant team in a rewarding educational environment. We offer the opportunity to work in an urban setting, supporting a diverse group of SEN students to achieve their full potential.



The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our teachers and engaging with our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:
· Assisting in the preparation and delivery of lessons
· Providing support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete tasks
· Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
· Monitoring and recording student progress
· Assisting with the management of classroom resources and setup


About You
We are looking for candidates who have:
· A genuine passion for education and the well-being of children
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
· Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
· Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent) are desirable but not essential

· This is a permanent position subject to a successful probationary year
